A King in a Court of Fools - Puddle, Puddle, Toil and Trouble

Puddles were the best — better than a bag of army men, better than the anthill behind the garage, and even better than that giant cardboard box the refrigerator came in. Maybe they didn’t come with men in six different shooting positions, or tickle when they crawled over your finger, or have room enough for all five of us to pile into and slide down the hill, but they had one thing none of those others had — they were more than just a toy.

Interested? Read the next episode in the continuing saga of Tom Ryan. He knows where you live. Here's where you should go to read on -

A King in a Court of Fools

I also do a dramatic reading of the piece for your listening pleasure.

Enjoy!
